SILENT CITY
On Monday, April 06th, 2020, I decided to take a drive. With New York "on pause", I wanted to capture this moment of history. My neighbor and I mapped a route through Manhattan to photograph and film the city from the view of my car. New York did not feel like New York. I couldn't stop at Irving for coffee, or run into Strand to use the restroom and pretend I didn't need another film book. The city that never sleeps was silent.
